"Severn Hospice has been involved in the Ironbridge Gorge Brass Band Festival since the very beginning and we are very proud to be part of such a wonderful event. The weekend has a truly special atmosphere, created not only by the tremendous performances but also from the sense of warmth and community between the bands and the audience. The Last Night of the Proms concert, in particular, has become a popular part of our annual calendar and is sure to go from strength to strength in its new outdoor venue. We have attended this event for the last 2 years and both years we have never been disappointed
The organiser’s of the event really put in some hard work and effort to maintain the standards of this event.
The look of the event, this year, was fantastic and the experience of the band members shone through
as beautiful notes of brass instruments carried through the air.
All tastes were catered for in the food stands and the atmosphere was electric.
Parking wasn't an issue as the organisers had laid on free parking at a close by off site venue and provided
a free bus to and from the event.
What a fabulous day.
