The next Bach, Mozart or Beethoven – you never know where they are going to come from.
At Nock Deighton estate agents we are hoping it will be here in Shropshire.
That is why we are delighted to sponsor the competition to find the best young composer of brass band music in our county.
The Nock Deighton Challenge for Young Composers is something we are very proud to be involved in and it has showcased many talented people in the three years it has been running.
Graham Taylor, managing director of Nock Deighton estate agents, said: “The Ironbridge Gorge Brass Band Festival is one of the leading events of its kind in the UK, and we are delighted to be associated with it.
“The Nock Deighton Challenge for Young Composers has grown into quite a prestigious contest over the past three years, and previous winners have gone on to great things.”
The 2014 competition was won by 17-year-old Daniel Hall who has since gone on to be selected for the composition team at the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
Nock Deighton has been established in Shropshire since the 1800s and has offices in Telford, Ironbridge, Newport, Bridgnorth, Ludlow, Cleobury Mortimer, Shrewsbury and Kidderminster.
